OMEGA JUICER

3722 Views

The Holy Grail of Cold Pressed Juicers. The Omega Premium Juicer and Nutrition System is the creme de la creme of home juicers. It is versatile beyond measure– use it for juicing, making nut milks and nut butters, frozen sorbet, as a pasta maker or even make your own baby food! This is your ticket to jump on the Celery Juice trend.

Taking juicing in to your own hands gives you the peace of mind that comes with sourcing and processing your own food. When I drink juice I make at home I am confident about what’s in it and when it was produced. As a high-yield juicer you’ll be sure to get the most bang for your buck knowing you squeezed every drop! And that can really help with the grocery bill. Enjoying a cold-pressed juice can be a luxury you enjoy everyday instead of only when you can afford that $12 price tag. Your body will thank you!

My real favorite things? This machine is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. Because this juicer is so efficient, every last drop is squeezed by the slow and strong single auger. This type of masticating juicer produces extra dry pulp and leaves the machine remarkably easy to clean. I’ll admit, before this juicer entered my life I thought of the task as a chore; mostly due to the clean-up process. These days the Omega juicer is the work horse of the kitchen thanks to some of these considerations.

I enjoy a hand full of juice flavors on the regular. Green juice is always on the menu but I generally choose one other to make at the same time for 2-3 days of juice. I choose a juice my body is intuitively craving or something to aid my hormonal cycle. Prepare a variety of juice flavors when you’re gearing up for a multi-day juice cleanse. Here are a few of my favorites:

GREEN: Spinach, Kale, Cucumber, Apple, Lemon, Moringa. RED: Beet, Carrot, Cucumber. ORANGE: Carrot, Orange, Turmeric. SPICY: Pineapple, Cucumber, Jalapeño, Kale, Spinach. NUT: Almond, Cashew, Cinnamon, Maca.

Keep it simple! Easily add a superfood, spice or supplement to add a little extra flavor or nutritional support.

Consume juices right away or as soon as possible when juices are at the peak of nutrition. Drinking juice fresh is important because nutrient degradation can begin as early as 24-72 hours after production. Always store fresh juices in airtight glass bottles to reduce flavor contamination and bacterial growth, avoid metal or plastic. I fill each bottle to the top and drink the leftover juices right then and there. Not only is glass easy to re-use but it’s also inexpensive. Pick up some milk bottles, mason jars with lids or re-use glass jars you already have! Opt for a silicone or natural straw. Lastly, make sure to label and date each jar– I typically use a black permanent marker to add the date to the bottom of the bottle.

Pro tip for Summer: Turn those tasty juices in to popsicles for a cold treat that will please kids and adults alike!

Take your juice– and your nutrition– in to your own hands with the Omega Juicer. I hope you use it and enjoy it as much as I do!
